13 October 2005 - Amrit to perform at Sanskaras presents Northern Fusion/Leeds

Amrit will be performing at the debut concert for Sankaras
presents Northern Fusion in Leeds at Becketts Park Student Union, Headingley, Leeds on the 10th Nov, stage time to be confirmed but the show is from 8pm - 2 am!!

This is a special Concert in promotion of Asian/World Music infulenced Artist's; other Acts on the Bill are Dj Asif's Fusing Naked Beats and Sweetblood. - A MUST SEE experience!!

12 October 2005 - Amrit Interview and LIVE Performance to be aired on BBC/Leeds

Amrit will be interviewed with LIVE in the studio special performances by BBC/Leeds, all details will be posted here very shortly!! - this is in conjunction with the Sankaras Concerts series featuring Asian/World Music artist's.

20 June 2005 - NEW Acoustic Madness Road Show!!

Amrit is in the new Acoustic Madness Guitar show with Michael Berk, Pete smith & John Buckley - this is a real Musical experience show where Amrit, Michael, Pete & John will be sharing the stage in solo, duo, trio and quartet formats.
The show is under proper management and expect a full on Tour very soooon!!

28 May 2005 - new DVD project underway

Plans are now underway for a new Amrit Sond DVD to be release through ACOUSTIC MASTERS due to a huge response for Amrit to talk about his composing skills and his unique Guitar approach, this will be a combined performance and instructional DVD...further news on the release will be posted soon, filming has already begun.

14 February 2005 - Amrit's a GRAMMY AWARD WINNING Artist!!

GREAT news!! - Pink Guitar, the Music of Henry Mancini (that featured Amrit's version of 'Two for the Road') wins the 47th GRAMMY AWARDS voted in the BEST POP INSTRUMENTAL Catagory.

CONGRATULATIONS to Solid Air Records & producer James Jensen, along with all the other Artist's also featured on the CD; Laurence Juber, Ed Gerhard, David Cullen, Doug Smith, Pat Donohue, Al Petteway, Mark Hanson, Mike Dowling , Aaron Stang, Wayne Johnson, William Coulter .

8 December 2004 - GRAMMY AWARD NOMINATION CONFIRMED!!

Pink Guitar, The Music of Henry Mancini CD that featured Amrit's version of the Mancini classic 'Two for the Road'is now OFFICALLY a GRAMMY AWARD NOMINATED ALBUM in the Best POP INSTRUMENTAL catagory, Amrit is now offically a GRAMMY NOMINATED ARTIST!!

The Henry Mancini - Pink Guitar CD is to be submitted for a Grammy in the Pop Instrumental catagory upon it's release date.

Amrit has contributed his arrangement of the Henry Mancini classic 'Two for the Road' for the forthcoming Pink Guitar, the music of Henry Mancini (Solo Guitar) - this CD will be released thru Solid Air Records/USA and there is also a Transcription Book that will be available of all the tunes featured on the CD that is also being released by Warner Brothers (WEA) USA - release date for both the CD and Book is Sept 21st. 11 March 2004 - Amrit to appear at The 2004 Frankfurt Musikmesse Show...

Amrit will be appearing The 2004 Frankfurt Muiskmesse Show, there will be solo and duet Demo's/Concerts with Italy's Premier innovative Bass Player, Mauro Aimetti from the 31st March to 3rd April...this show is in association with Bachmann Guitars and Peavey Amplifications.

Amrit's follow up to his acclaimed Debut CD is now underway, the bulk of the solo Guitar Recording (all original material)is now almost finished. Further details of the Release will be posted upon confirmation.

1 August 2003 - Live Concert DVD featuring Amrit.

The DVD Release of 'Guitars at The Cockpit Theatre Concert' that featured Amrit, John Etheridge/Hugh Burns & Preston Reed, which was filmed by the Acoustic Masters company in April is now avaliable thru their website; www.acousticmasters.com - please visit them there for further info on the Concert and DVD.

It is a lovely filmed setting with very superior Picture/Sound Quality that features individual Performances from all which turned out really well, Amrit's segmet features the following Tracks; Opening, Sipiria, Rigid Geometry, nth Degree.

12 June 2003 - Amrit on Canadian Radio (Interview & Performance).

Amrit will be the featured Artist on Bob Evans Six Strings & A Million Possibilities Canadian Radio Broadcast. It will be Aired on Sunday 22nd June which will be webcast @ 10:00am Central Standard Time (in Southern Ontario that would be Noon) and in the U.K that will be 5:00pm.....
